Tourist attractions at Amalfi coast
Apart from my classes at Amalfi coast cooking schools, there was a lot more about this place that I want to share with you.
Cultural locations and attractions
The wonderful cooking lessons at the cooking schools in Amalfi coast and the subsequent visits to sites of rich cultural importance were a lifetime experience. My visit to Cloister of paradise was thrilling. It is an 800-year-old cemetery where the elites of Amalfi reside in peace in their graves. The visit to the remains of the Roman Villa, a 2000 years old structure, was also very interesting. Some layouts of this building such as the thermal baths, central garden, and holy fountain are still recognizable. The Amalfi civic museum, located in the home town of Amalf, is also a wonderful pace to visit.
Religious places
I visited some of the most popular religious sites of Amalfi coast. These included the Church of Canta Maria Assunta, the Church of San Francesco, Amalfi Duomo, the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena, and the Duomo of Saint Pantaleone Ravllo. These churches are great examples of rich architecture of Italy. At the same time they also exhibit the true religious feelings of the people of Amalfi. After this religious tour, it was time to go back to the resort and enjoy the cooking lessons at the Amalfi coast cooking school.
Other attractions
Being a food lover, cooking classes at my cooking school at Amalfi coast were the best experience for me. Other attractions of this place included hiking, water sports, spa, and enjoying the natural beauty at the Amalfi coast. The beaches and the parks and gardens of this place are also worth visiting. The beach of Marina di Praia is something you should not miss.
Apart from cooking schools, Amalfi coast also provides an opportunity to enjoy cooking classes in parks or beaches in the middle of the natural beauty. This is something I would like to try on my next trip to the Amalfi coast.
